STAND empowers students to take a stand and be all they are created to be through the performing arts.
Through acting, vocal, dance, musical theatre, and other classes, students grow in their confidence and faith!

Join us for a SWEET show full of laughs and fun as our homeschool musical theatre group performs Willy Wonka Kids! There will be two shows on May 3rd, 2024 - a 5 PM & 7 PM showing in the Black Box Theatre at Haltom High School. Tickets are on sale now!
Our K-5th Grade Musical Theatre will be performing this fun new musical with your favorite fishy friends. Join us May 10th & May 11th @ 6:30 PM as Marlin and Nemo go on journeys to find their way back to each other. The shows will be at Venture Church - tickets are on sale now!
We are so excited for our second-ever STAND original musical production! Join Charlene, Cassie, and Nate on a pop musical journey as they navigate Charlene's mid-life crisis by traveling through the 80's, 90's, and early 00's in their DeLorean. The shows will be at Met Church on May 16th-May 17th @ 6 PM & 8 PM. Tickets on sale now!
Your favorite beloved classic is brought to life by our talented students (ages 12+) in our Advanced Acting Production Class. Come laugh and cry as the March sisters navigate the domestic struggles of Civil War America. Shows are May 31st and June 1st at 7:00 PM. Tickets on sale now!

Our skilled team of teachers work tirelessly to make sure that your child can be successful both in and outside of the classroom. Both in their day-to-day life as well as on the stage performing.

Each teacher is committed to instilling the STAND values into students. Children are encouraged to bravely be themselves and stand up for their beliefs, stand strong in the knowledge they are loved by the Creator, and stand out from the world!
Inspire.
STAND students walk away from each class, encouraged and inspired; building their confidence in both their performing skills and themselves. STAND students are given opportunities to serve and love others, teaching them to be servant-leaders.

A 3-hour block of classes including Vocals, Hip-Hop, and Acting. Students are highly encouraged to take all 3 classes offered to them for their age group on the same day.

This class focuses on vocals, performance, and what it means to use our voices for Jesus - in church or any atmosphere.
Students are highly encouraged to take vocals along with hip-hop and acting on the same night. We have found this builds a strong community that allows students to flourish and grow.

As a ministry, we believe it is important to prepare the next generation for leading others into the presence of God. This should be done with the right heart and also with excellence. In this class, students will work on their vocal skills along with learning the practical and theological aspects of leading a congregation in worship.

We have 2 adult-specific opportunities for learning and growing in the performing arts: our once-a-week Community Theatre Class, and our Adult Acting Class. We know being an adult leaves you with little room in your schedule for growing in your talents, so STAND has offered a safe and non-time-consuming way for 18+ year-olds to perform to their heart’s content - novice and advanced alike.

This original works project will involve six weeks of playwriting, springboards, and discussions that will culminate into a show written by the performers and performed by the writers.
